for skyboat adventures and other activities
CANCELATION OF SKYBOAT TRIP
In case of cancellation of single tickets, we retain the deposit for the booking (30%). This is to cover our costs related to booking, payment and refund.
If you get sick, contact your travel insurance for reimbursement of costs.
In case of change/cancellation later than 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total ticket amount is payable.
Please note that this also applies if there are obstacles in the form of weather and wind that hinder your journey with our cloud boat.
GENERAL CONDITIONS - TAILOR-MADE TOURS
Cancellation of tailor-made tours that have been confirmed (group tour) can be cancelled at a cost of 30% up to 14 days prior to departure. Cancellation must be made in writing no later than 14 days before the agreed arrival date. If a tailor-made tour that has been confirmed is cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, 100% of the agreed price of the tour will be charged. All bookings, changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing. Late arrival can lead to a shorter trip or miss the trip altogether. The trip must still be paid in full and no refund will be given.
For all trips made by the Kvarøy Sjøhus team, consisting of activities or more, we will charge an administration fee for the booking of at least 12% of the total cost of the booking. The administration fee is billed at confirmation and is non-refundable.
BOAT TRIPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES WITHOUT ACCOMMODATION
The safety of our guests and crew will always be the number one priority in all of our operations. Kvarøy Sjøhus reserves the right to change or cancel trips due to unforeseen problems with equipment or crew - as well as bad weather. If weather conditions indicate that the originally planned route is not safe, Kvarøy Sjøhus reserves the right to cancel the trip on the advice of our guides and boat operators. Alternatively, the guide or boatman can change the route to ensure that participants have a pleasant and safe experience. Changes to the route due to weather conditions are not grounds for a refund or price reduction.

If the activity is canceled less than 7 days before departure, 100% of the total amount of the activity will be charged. All bookings, changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing. Late arrival can lead to a shorter trip or miss the trip altogether. The trip must still be paid in full and no refund will be given.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Participants must always follow the instructions given by the guide or boatmaster; the operator has authority on the boat that he/she leads. The operator has the authority to refuse someone participation from the ride if they consider it a safety risk - this could be related to health, physical condition, the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if they act in a way that is a nuisance to other participants.
The use and carrying of personal equipment/items on boat trips/guided tours, such as cameras, mobile phones, bags, jewellery, glasses etc. is at the participants' own risk.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Guests are responsible for informing Kvarøy Sjøhus of any relevant medical conditions, allergies or mobility restrictions prior to travel.
Some experiences take place in remote natural settings where immediate medical help may not be available.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Kvarøy Sjøhus strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, delays, medical emergencies and personal belongings.
If unforeseen personal circumstances require cancellation within the non-refundable period, guests are encouraged to seek a refund through their travel insurance company.
FORCE MAJEURE AND CHANGES TO TRAVEL PLAN
Kvarøy Sjøhus may adjust or modify parts of the itinerary due to weather conditions, transport disruptions, safety concerns, government regulations, illness or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, appropriate options will be arranged. Refunds are not granted for changes resulting from force majeure events.
MEDIA AND IMAGE USES
Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to departure, guests consent to the use of photos and video material taken during the trip for marketing and advertising purposes for Kvarøy Sjøhus.
